I suggest to generally replace `...' by '...' or "..." as `...' looks ugly with most fonts. The mentioned example string is at least not used by Ubuntu but perhaps by other distros which perhaps manage notifications another way. So the string should be translated if the translations get fed back upstream.In general, it should be checked through all strings and all occurences of `...' be replaced. This should be reported as upstream bug.
