Public bug reported:
I'm using Maverick on a day to day basis on this HP Presario CQ61 and I
have also tested Natty via a USB-stick installation. Both have good
wireless connection behavior. Yet when testing Oneiric via A USB-stick
installation the wireless connection is has extreme latency issues. For
example, using scp to copy the initrd via Natty or Maverick takes about
7 seconds on my network, where Oneiric quickly stalls at about 10% and
takes minutes before reaching 11% after which I abort.
Also access vie NFS stalls, surfing has long latencies as does any other
network transfer.
There's nothing suspicious [for me] the dmesg or syslog and ifconfig
does not report dropped packages.
I'm not sure how I would gather more meaningful information.
