the second issue that you reported is either bug 875557 I have updated the decription of this bug report to focus on one issue. About problem 1 I believe it could be your hardware's fault as well as a driver issue, my laptop touchpad does weird things where it would automatically maximize the window and then unmaximize in the same second. As Bilal said if you have a few steps to reproduce the issue those will be helpful.
