This is an issue with our current stack. It falls under the general
heading of: X.org clickpad support is non-existent. We hope to address
clickpad issues this cycle, but we don't have a good answer right now.
The most useful work around is to enable tap-to-click. Although the user
has to use a different mechanism to achieve the same results, everything
is still possible.
