Do you have any additional information? Nope, sorry

When did this start to happen? After a fresh install of Kubuntu Feisty

Does it always happen for every command or only for some? For all

Can you still reproduce this if you create a new user on your system, log in as
this user, and try running some command? No time for that, sorry...
Did you install any software from non-ubuntu sources (I can't find a "jedit"
command on my system)? Etc... Yes, jedit is unfortunately non-ubuntu... but the
problem is unrelated to jedit.

I removed gksu (apt-get remove gksu) but I can not reproduce the error;
apparently, the problem fixed itself by installing gksu (even after
uninstalling it).

Thanks, but I can't help any further...
