This is a major usability issue for the upgrade that has still not been addressed after at least 3 releases.
Here are some details of the pain: - I can not see the complete list of packages that will be installed/upgraded/deleted: the bottom of the window is out of the screen - Once I have access to that list, I can not view the action buttons under it to either accept or decline the upgrade. I can not access them with the mouse, and I have to blindly navigate the controls with the tab key. - I can not view the bottom of the terminal window during the upgrade - If I remember well I also had problem with the windows that asked me about config files upgrade My netbook is an Asus Eee Pc 1005HA. Screen size is 1024 x 600 pixels. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/663457 Title: DistUpgraders output window should be resizable and initial size should fit the screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/663457/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
