I should clarify my last message. By "didn't think to check" I mean when TBird crashed I didn't go looking through all the folders to see if they were intact - I have too many mail accounts with too many folders to be doing that every time). However it appears that the two "emptyings" occurred at two different days and times and were at least close to the day and time of a TBird crash.
It has been close to 24 hours since I installed SUN JDK (6 not 7) and uninstalled the open JDK and so far none of the apps have crashed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/899294 Title: JRE SIGSEGV randonly crashing TBird, Vuze etc. To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/899294/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
