Public bug reported:
Kubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot", 32bit, installed via desktop CD.
Install "kubuntu-full" on a laptop with intel graphics hardware and
desktop effects don't activate after next reboot.
It seems to be either fglrx or nvidia-* related since removing all of
these video driver packages and reboot apparently fixes the problem.
Please remove dependencies to Nvidia/AMD driver packages, these should
be detected and installed at install time properly.
