I confirm alt-tab slowness: The first time I hit it, the popup takes
several seconds to appear; then while holding alt and pressing tab to
move the cursor from an icon to the next (before _actually_ switching),
it is faster but still unacceptably slow. It should take practically 0
time, instead, the animation is glitchy. You too often end up hitting
tab one time too much and have to go around the loop again. Moving the
cursor should have the highest priority possible; the animation should
be suppressed if that's what it takes to have it functional. This
renders the alt-tab thing almost unusable.
However I'm on 10.04.
