According to your kernel version your system is not up-to-date. In the recent days we have done many fixes with respect to printing. Please do a full system update, either via update-manager (icon should be in your Unity launcher on the left of the screen, probably with the number of available packages) or by the commands
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade in a terminal window. If after the update (do not forget to reboot, to also get the new kernel active) the problem still persists, please follow the instructions of "CUPS error_log" and "Capturing print job data" of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems and attach the files here, one by one, uncompressed and not packaged together. ** Changed in: ptouch-driver (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: ptouch-driver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/901353 Title: Brother QL-650TD only prints garbage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ptouch-driver/+bug/901353/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
