Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org2
If I open a presentation file (.odp) and select Slideshow (F5), and after the
slideshow has ended I try to close Impress, the program closes but a dialog
appears that says:
Due to an unexpected error, OpenOffice.org crashed. All the files you were
working on will be saved now. The next time OpenOffice.org is launched, your
files will be recovered automatically. The following files will be recovered:
(no files appear).
The only choice you have is to press the Ok button, and when you do that
OpenOffice Writer is launched with a blank document (Untitled1).
To reproduce the bug you can simply create a small presentation file (with a
couple of empty slides) and save it.
Then open the file in Impress. Press F5 to launch the slideshow. After the
slideshow exits, try to close Impress. The crash/recovery dialog will appear.
Note that even though the document you open is a presentation document, after
the crash the "recovered" document opens in Writer.
Also, note that, if you open the presentation document and do not launch the
slideshow feature, the program exits normally without showing any crash or
recovery dialogs.
