Public bug reported:

On an i386 system I installed lxsession:amd64, which caused lubuntu-
default-settings to be removed.

To work around the issue I let Synaptic remove lubuntu-default-settings
while updating packages, then use ´dpkg -i --force-depends´ to force it
back on the system after I have finished with Synaptic.
