Camorama shows "usb camera(046d:08da)"
Cheese and this camera do work in Ubuntu 11.04 - Frugal/Full installs.
Not sure, but I think the problem is within Ubuntu itself. Possibly missing
dependencies? Could also be that Cheese needs to be updated? Pretty sure it's
something missing in Oneiric.

Hope if you're maintaining this, or working out the details of this bug, that
it's a simple one for you to resolve.
Other than this, I notice one other little bug in the package manager. I'll try
to repeat that event and forward a bug report for that one.
