** Description changed:
- When I go to the Workspace switcher and then right-click on one of the
- windows there to exit the switcher and go to that window, the focus
- remains on the window I was using before I used the switcher.
+ Ubuntu 11.10
+ Unity 4.24.0-0ubuntu2b1
- For instance, suppose I am using Banshee in one workspace and then go to the
switcher and right-click on the Firefox window in another workspace. Then I
press Ctrl+L to start opening a webpage, but instead I get Banshee's "Open
Location" dialog. This is incredibly irritating.
- It's worse when the other application has different ideas about what keyboard
input does, so you don't immediately notice that the input is not going to the
wrong window.
+ 1. open an application and maximize it, lets say chromium
+ 2. open another application and move it to any another workspace
(ctrl+alt+shift+right arrow)
+ 3. click WorkSpace switcher icon in the launcher
+ 4. right click on the first workspace (the one with chromium in it)
+
+ What happen:
+ Chromium is visible but its title is not shown in the panel and hovering over
that area does not show the application menu neither you need to click anywhere
in chromium window for the app title/menu to appear
+
+ What should happen
+ chromium window should have the focus instantly so there's no need to click
in it to gain focus.
** Summary changed:
