Hello Michael, Any ideas what I can do about this bug, I really need to be able to use my scanner and I don't want to have to buy a new scanner because of this.
I have used the solution in this link: http://www.panticz.de/Install-Brother-MFC-7320-on-Ubuntu to install the required drivers in Ubuntu 11.4, but when I've just tried to do that again, using the same software, it doesn't work with 11.10 - looks like the .deb package you ask the terminal to download is a driver for 11.4 so perhaps we need a new driver for 11.10? I tried just typing 11-10 instead of 11-4 in the filename in case there was already one, but it said file not found. Please help, I'm really pleased with Unbuntu in general, having switched from Windows but I need to get my system working properly.
