I'm going to mark this bug invalid, since you opened the other bug
against the udisks project.
However, acpid version 1:2.0.10-1ubuntu2.3 (the version you have
installed) went out as a security update yesterday. From reading your
comments, I believe that this issue has existed for you since karmic
(9.10) and that it *is not* a regression from acpid version
1:2.0.10-1ubuntu2.
If I misunderstood you and this *is* a regression you faced only after
updating acpid to version 1:2.0.10-1ubuntu2.3, then please reopen this
bug.
