Public bug reported:
After the last update (via update manager) I find out that mplayer
(command-line) cannot play the movies in full-screen mode.
I can compare with Hardy: the same mplayer (from svn) works ok, no
artifacts.
The dual-core AMD Turion 2.2GHz should be enough for movies (and it was
under Hardy).
It's either different drivers or something bad with the timing in the
kernel or something bad with the video.
Expected: No artifacts in the movies that cause no problems under Hardy.
Actual: In full-screen mode there are timing artifacts under Natty and no
artifacts under Hardy. That is, the image "freezes" for some time and the
movement becomes unnatural.
