Public bug reported:

well sound has not worked with out braking up or for the most not
working at all  on my lenovo X60's since ubuntu 10.04 I have done a
fresh install of 11.10 on this machine with all updates I have tryed
addding the options snd-hda-intel model thinkpad line to the alsa-
base.conf
