Public bug reported:

Unity sucks for 2 reasons:

1. It is not polished
2. It changes good way of doing things

When it will be polished it will still suck as it essentially changes
menu for launcher/dock, and that is not so smart invention as menu can
grow and contain lot of stuff, and launcher looses speed/function if it
contains too much stuff.

Application search/finder is only good part of Unity interface as it
offers search for apps by name, not by function as in menu, and
sometimes that can be convenient.

I suppose that this bug will be closed at once, but if this (or similar)
bug reappears often enough maybe somebody will eventually got that it is
not a feature, but really a bug.

P.S. Unity is not ONLY a launcher & finder, it comprises also unified title bar
from Mac etc etc which I can get used to, but changing menus for launcher is
not win-win but win-lose trade, and users lose here. Period. Thin left scroll
bar? I appreciate more space on screen but I hate when I lose time finding it.
UI should have usability as its first concern, and IMHO Ubuntu with Unity went
more for elegance than usability. Get scissors and remove the shit, and give us
usable Ubuntu desktop. Or everybody who still use Ubuntu for work will
eventually go for KDE/xfce or something.

** Affects: unity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
