Public bug reported:

Release: 11.10 (Oneiric)
The plugin (and xul-ext-calendar-timezones) gets disabled because of the
version check. It seems that the plugins on their own are working and I was
able to get them running again by fiddling with the version numbers in
/usr/share/xul-ext/*/install.rdf. I just set them to max version being 9.*. Not
sure this is the right number, but it works for me.

** Affects: lightning-extension (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
