Public bug reported:
The ubuntu studio installer does not propogate kernel options to the
menu.lst grub config file after install.
In 7.04 feisty, using the live cd to install, my required kernel opts
(nosmp, noapic, nolapic) were automatically put into menu.lst so the
system would correctly reboot after the install completes.
In the ubuntu studio dvd iso install, it did NOT do this, and so I had
to interrupt grub and edit these in. Later, I also had to edit menu.lst
manually to add these options. Fortunately, I have enough experience to
know how to do this. A novice probably will have considerable
difficulty.
