Public bug reported:

After upgrading the kernel from 3.00.13 to 3.0014.16 in the latest
updates the built in camera on my macbook pro stopped working (also the
system seemed slower and appeared to stutter but this is probably
another issue).

Several applications failed to use the built in isight webcam (cheese,
tvtime, uvc something and skype). Rebooting to a previous version of
the kernel fixes things.

I'm not sure if this is a kernel issue or a package dependency that
failed to trigger when the kernel was upgraded.

cheese reported something like "could not negotiate video mode /
protocol for /dev/video0" (can't remember exactly and now running
k3.0013) various other messages were reported by other apps.

The computer also felt slower and stuttered under 3.00.14 but this may
be a coincidence - it feels better no I have reverted to 3.00.13.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
