I've just performed a new update from 11.04 to 11.10 and apparently some
of the latest updates have solved the issue. I'm sorry I can't provide
you any detailed information on what caused the problem or what solved
it precisely, but as this bug is not reproducible anymore I'm going to
close it. Thanks!
