Dave Russell did some testing on his X201 with various kernel versions and userspace tools. I'm attaching the results of this as a PDF.
>From these results we see the following: 1) Works on Natty 2.6.38 (though a bit slower than expected) 2) Oneiric/Precise 3.0.0/3.2.0 do not work (very slow to no connection) 3) Natty with an Oneiric Network Manager (0.8.4) works. 4) Oneiric with Wicd works. 5) Oneiric with N disabled works.
