Thank you for reporting this issue. I have one question for you: did you
have cacti running functionally? If so, were you using a different
database for cacti than the default?

For the record of this bug: I just distilled the information a little
more to the foreground, from DpkgTerminalLog the relevant info is below.

I think we need to check if the current pre-removal script still fails
if the cacti database is unknown.

error encountered dumping database:
mysqldump: Got error: 1049: Unknown database 'cacti' when selecting the database
dbconfig-common: cacti remove: aborted.
dbconfig-common: flushing administrative password
dpkg: errore nell'elaborare cacti (--remove):
