Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
If upstream has stagnated and there is a different source which has continued development, it sounds like it might be an idea to switch. But this would be better coming from Debian so that the delta to Ubuntu can stay manageable, particularly since this package is in universe. Thus I'm marking the Ubuntu task as Importance: Wishlist. To take this further, you could file a bug against analog in Debian, and if fixed there it will filter through in the next merge. Alternatively, if you can provide a small patch for the particular functionality you need, then Ubuntu might be able to carry that patch, given that it is already carrying the Vista+7 detection patch (but note that I can't make that decision). ** Changed in: analog (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/905313 Title: Fails to recognise Android or iP* devices To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/analog/+bug/905313/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
