Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libopenbabel1
The OpenBabel version should be upgraded to 2.1 for Gutsy Gibbon. OpenBabel 2.1 has been released on April 7, see http://openbabel.sourceforge.net/wiki/Open_Babel_2.1.0 The current packaged version, 2.0.2, is not recent enough for some apps that users may want to run by the time Gutsy is out: 1) Kalzium in KDE 4.0 requires OpenBabel 2.1 for the 3D-viewer feature 2) Avogadro (http://avogadro.sourceforge.net) By the way, the package name libopenbabel1 is misleading as it seems to suggest the version is 1.x. Maybe rename it to libopenbabel ?
