In Ubuntu 10.10 and later, network-manager-applet uses a standard
indicator menu, with no right-click menu and standard checkmarks for
toggle items. So this bug should be fixed.

If it is not fixed, please reopen this report and attach a screenshot.
In Ubuntu's "Take Screenshot" utility (gnome-screenshot) you can take a
screenshot of the whole screen with a delay of five seconds, and open
the menu before the five seconds is up. Thanks.
