I just installed Precise from scratch on a computer where I previously
had Oneiric and Nokia CS-17 as 3G modem and it used to work fine. Now it
usb-modeswitch seems to segfault about 90 % of the time when I connect
the modem to the USB port.
The device is recognized and is shown by lsusb correctly, and udev runs
usb_modeswitch, but that fails. Syslog mentions segfaulting:
