I confirmed that it builds fine with libevent-dev, and passes the tests.
It would need some bigger packaging changes, though (drop libverto-
libev1, add libverto-libevent1), and I cannot say whether krb5 actually
works with that. I don't have any practical knowledge of either krb5 or
libevent :-(

But we can certainly start with building against libevent, and revert
back to libev once/if it causes problems.
