For people who have TB of data. It would make it easier when looking through directories for files and understanding folder structure. Most of the time you know what is in the folder by the folder name so if there was a way to indicate there were no sub folders, you would not have to open the folder to find out what is in it.
A clear triangle would still keep the one click 'expand folder' functionality. Even thunar for Xfce in 'tree view' does not show a triangle for folders with no subfolders . Although I think a clear triangle would be better for nautilus to keep the one click 'expand folder' functionality in all parts of nautilus. I hate to say it but even File manager M$widoze does this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/906712 Title: nautilus dir with subfolders marked with solid triangle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/906712/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
