Hi,

In which version is this bug fixed?

My Ubuntu 11.10 is up to date, but I get a very similar crash of compiz
under unity when I open the dash and click on "Internet Application".

The stack trace  is :

#0  0x00007fafee45fd30 in nux::Property<bool>::operator=(bool const&) () from
/usr/lib/compiz/libunityshell.so
#1  0x00007fafee45eff6 in unity::dash::DashView::AnalyseLensURI(std::string) ()

#2  0x00007fafee45f29d in unity::dash::DashView::OnActivateRequest(_GVariant*)

#3  0x00007fafee51a838 in unity::UBusManager::OnCallback(_GVariant*, void*) ()
from /usr/lib/compiz/libunityshell.so
#4  0x00007fafee528e99 in ?? () from /usr/lib/compiz/libunityshell.so
#5  0x00007faffef07a5d in g_main_context_dispatch () from
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libglib-2.0.so.0
#6  0x00007faffef08258 in ?? () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libglib-2.0.so.0
#7  0x00007faffef08792 in g_main_loop_run () from

#8  0x000000000042e856 in CompScreen::eventLoop() ()
#9  0x000000000042221a in main ()

and in /var/log/messages I get:

Dec 21 10:11:09 myworkstation kernel: [ 6653.241530] compiz[13070]:
segfault at 428 ip 00007fafee45fd30 sp 00007fff2bd22450 error 4 in
libunityshell.so[7fafee36e000+225000]

I have a core dump.

I have other problems in the dash too that may or may not be related:
- when I click on "more apps", nothing happens (i.e. it doesn't show the list
of applications)
- when I search for an application in dash (e.g. synaptics), the application is
not found and I only get results on music files

Does it look like the same problem, or should I open a different ticket?

Thanks,
Thibault.
