Dear Micah

Thanks for your suggestion.  I am a newbie, also not very technologically
adept.  I first came to computers at 65, to Linux at 77.  My first mistake
was in purchasing any apps, and it won't happen again. Also, I just frankly
didn't know how to deal with the sources.list and know very little about
getting to the permissions of an app which I can't see before me and click.
Once again I just simply took the coward's way out, I hope for the last
time, and re-installed.  But I keep learning more and getting better each
day.  Again, thanks for your kind answer and suggestion.
