Public bug reported:

I pressed "Alt+Ctrl+F[1-6]", enter the tty console; I executed the
commad "ls -al" and I found that there're some lines I can't see, then I
pressed "Ctrl+l" to clear the contexts but the screen didn't really
cleared as expected.

My video card is the "gma500" with a native 1024*600 resolution, and I
use ubuntu12.04 precise with the "psb_gfx" driver enabled.

It acts as if the OS(psb_gfx dirver) treat my screen as 1024*768
resolution, which caused a view overflow.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
