Indeed, this package is available in Debian testing, as well as sid. There are semi-automated processes that carry packages in Debian over to Ubuntu, so this will most likely be included in the next Ubuntu release. It doesn't appear that this is present in precise, though, so hopefully this gets picked up before the freeze.
