Hi there. Your eCryptfs files will not show up in updatedb/locate's
database. They're blacklisted from being indexed there because the
directory's permissions indicate that it's private.
According to your log in comment #1, your encrypted home directory is
already mounted. Can you confirm that by pasting the output of:
$ grep ecryptfs /etc/mtab
Also, you don't have to paste it here, but can you ls -alF $HOME and
make sure that you have files/folders in there?
