Public bug reported: Session is not saved anymore for any applications on logout. Affects since 11.
Most particularly affects gnome-terminal, but applies to all formerly- running apps that were saved to start. 10.4: logout, session saved. Running programs restored, terminal windows restored. Now: none are restored. 100% failure. If even a mechanism to work with was documented, that would possibly help. While it won't get formerly restored apps such as skype, pidgin and the like to start automatically as preferred, I could at least fix the otherwise broken gnome-terminal.
