Thanks for reporting this bug. However, it's not a gnome-shell bug, but
an issue with a gnome-shell extension that needed to be updated. Since
gnome-shell extensions aren't in the Ubuntu repositories, there's
nothing for Ubuntu to fix so I'm closing this bug.
