Public bug reported:

I tried to install ubuntu 12.04 A1 on my system, but the system hanged
each time, using the F2 key during the install/boot process, I narrowed
it down to the b43 wireless driver. So at the primary install page via
the F6 key, I used:

b43.blacklist=yes

I then proceeded to insatll the system, which failed on first boot, so I
used the same command within GRUB and then added blacklist b43 to
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Was ther a better way to do this?

P.S. On the original F2 listings, I noticed that the system reported
that the b43 firmware wasn't available and then it would hang.

** Affects: b43-fwcutter (Ubuntu)
