I have had the same problems ince the upgrade from Natty in October and it is really becoming a pain.
My data from lsusb does not contain any information about WLAN, so I cannot say if I use the same driver. My WLAN card is : - product: AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) [168C:2A] - vendor: Atheros Communications Inc. [168C] I hope something will be done about it soon or at least a solution strategy will be known. So far Wicd has helped me a few times, but other updates since the upgrade seem to make it worse. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875424 Title: unable to connect to encrypted access point with r8712 driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/875424/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
