Kubuntu 11.10 64bits The OS is not handling well audio CD on many applications. No issue by a double click from Dolphin when using SMPlayer.

Using the following (kio?) link show the CD files as I can see on Dolphin: audiocd:/?device=/dev/sr0 Unfortunately selecting any file does nothing. The version 2.50 is suppose to fix this issue. - Juk can browse my places and see the audio CD but unfortunately, I cannot play any song as it says that I can only select local files. - SMPlayer return the same message. - Bangarang: see an empty audio CD - Kaffeine can play the first song only. - KsCD does nothing. - Kplayer and KMPlayer failed too. > Other applications -------------------------------- - VLC: is working fine with audio CD (Peripheral/disk) - Audacious can see the CD audio on places but a double click on it show the following message: Could not mount Audio Disc Location is not mountable - Quod libet is bugging the same way as Audacious - Clementine can see the CD but a double click on it does nothing I believe that is an issue moving from HAL to UDEV... an Kubuntu issue.
