Very interesting - but also slightly ridiculous? Avira Antivirus is quite well known; isn't it time it was officiallly supported as a Ubuntu affiliate? What about the Launchpad and Ubuntu ethos of freedom for developers and support for independent talent? And no other commercial interest apart from Microsoft would ever attempt to take over? Perhaps it is time there was a Ubunu anto-virus package.
