Hi Gustavo, thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it on my system.
According to CUPS's documentation, cupsUser() returns only one user name
(the cups.getUser() binding calls cupsUser()). system-config-printer
also doesn't seem to set the user to an invalid value.
Can you please provide more details on how to reproduce this bug and
which version of Ubuntu, CUPS, and system-config-printer you are using?
