Public bug reported:

I am using Feisty Fawn on Acer Aspire 1641 NWLMI laptop.

acerhk module is installed in the 2.6.20-15-generic kernel that is
installed.

Wireless works on my laptop and all the hotkeys work too and even the
wireless hardware switch works but the led in the wireless hardware
switch doesnt work

I tried sudo echo on > /proc/driver/acerhk/wirelessled

The command completes successfully but still the led doesnt glow.

modprobe acerhk doesnt give any errors

The command

modprobe acerhk | dmesg | grep acerhk

gives

[ 20.908000] acerhk: model string indicates unknown TM xxx series

Theres another entry in dmesg for acerhk
[ 20.900000] input: Acer hotkey driver as /class/input/input5
[ 20.908000] acerhk: model string indicates unknown TM xxx series
[ 20.908000] Acer Travelmate hotkey driver v0.5.34

The led is not working and its a bit exasperating. Can you please help
me out
