D [23/Oct/2011:11:01:50 +0100] [Job 5] Error: invalid printer model name
Looks like there is a mismatch between the PPD file (or the printer) and
the driver. If you have really installed the driver package
corresponding to your printer and all packages installed from Canon are
of the same version (or at least compatible versions) then this is a bug
in Canon's driver. Report this problem to Canon.
This is for sure a bug in Canon's driver:
D [23/Oct/2011:11:01:51 +0100] PID 9714
(/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstocanonij) exited with no errors.
According to the messages above, the pstocanonij has errored out, but
now it exits iwth a zero exit status, making CUPS assuming that no error
has occured, dequeuing the "finished" job. This you should report to
Canon in any case.
