I typed apt-get install aptdaemon in terminal window: root@charlie02:/home/charlie# apt-get install aptdaemon Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done aptdaemon is already the newest version. The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required: lib32bz2-1.0 lib32ncurses5 Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
I already have the latest version. Now I have the current situation: - update notifier: if I click on it and select "show updates", "install all updates" or "check for updates" nothing happens. - update manager: everything seem ok, I can check for updates and install them. What should I do? mark this bug a duplicate of bug 894671 ? For the update notifier must I open a new bug ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/899648 Title: Update manager does not install downloaded updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/899648/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
