Well, it appears that the messaging menu looks at the always on
telepathy services and adds a triangle next to it. Not the right thing
to happen.
The messaging indicator should find out for itself whether Empathy is
logged in or not (or Empathy should report that to the menu), so that
the menu can add a "running" flag to it.
