The most recent upgrade don't seem to concern update-manager. So no luck. To make matters worse, I believe a related problem exists for software- center. I can not install anything as user (I will never be asked for user privileges). But I can install stuff when starting "sudo software- center". Isn't this fairly serious for a user that doesn't use commandline apt-get? How come there are so few reports of this?!
