The most recent upgrade don't seem to concern update-manager. So no
luck.

To make matters worse, I believe a related problem exists for software-
center. I can not install anything as user (I will never be asked for
user privileges). But I can install stuff when starting "sudo software-
center". Isn't this fairly serious for a user that doesn't use
commandline apt-get? How come there are so few reports of this?!
