** Description changed: After upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 with kernel 3.0.0-12-generic I have started to receive a "general protection fault" every time I try to logout. I need to power off the computer manually. The same thing happens when I try to disconnect from the local wireless network using NetworkManager. I attach the part of syslog with the error messages together with lspci and lsmod logs.
