I also have the same problems with my Broadcom Wireless card. It lists the full name as shown below:
Wireless Network (Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller) Personally, I think it should just use the following string below: Wireless Network (Broadcom Wireless LAN Controller).
